What does nutritional balance targeted to protein and fibre mean?
This is a patented concept (patent pending (#75831) unique to OSM Everyday Nutrition, that relates to two of the four macronutrients (protein, fibre, carbohydrates, fat) being balanced in equal proportions of the daily intake (DI). One bar is equal to one serving size providing a good source of protein and excellent source of fibre. OSM EN is a formulated supplementary food for times when intakes of protein and fibre from your everyday diet may be insufficient.
Is Everyday Nutrition better than OSM All-Terrain Nutrition?
They are both nutritionally balanced products and complement each other. You can choose which one best suits your needs, depending what you are up to. OSM All-Terrain Nutrition is balanced across all key macronutrients and has 10 vitamins and six minerals. It can also be used as a meal replacement, so offers the ultimate in smart sustenance to fuel all your activities and adventures, from multisport to tramping and camping. OSM Everyday Nutrition is more for everyday snacking. It has high protein, high fibre and less sugar, with seven vitamins and three minerals.
Is OSM Everyday Nutrition suitable for children?
The range would be suitable for children over three as part of a varied diet. For example, EN has good levels of protein and fibre, plus several vitamins and minerals. The small EN Bites are a great size for lunchboxes, or for an occasional snack. We do not recommend for children under three as they have different nutritional needs to older children and adults.

Does Everyday Nutrition contain any artificial sweeteners?

Yes, all flavours contain a very small amount of natural caramel colour.
Are there added preservatives?
No, we do not add preservatives.
What are the vitamins and minerals?
Seven vitamins: Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Niacin, Folate, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, Vitamin E. Three minerals: Iron, Magnesium, Zinc.
Does Everyday Nutrition contain nuts?
Crunchy Peanut Butter contains peanuts. The other flavours do not have nut ingredients, but are made in a facility that does process nuts. Also, some of the ingredients are processed on lines that also process nuts.
Is it egg free?
Yes, the recipe is egg-free. However, EN is made in a bakery where egg is used in other products so, while every step is taken to prevent crossover, it is possible that traces might be present.
Is it gluten-free?
No.
Is it vegan?
It is made with 100% plant-based ingredients. However, EN is made in a bakery where egg is used in other products so, while every step is taken to prevent crossover, it is possible that traces might be present.
What’s the shelf life?
120 days from production (about four months). This is clearly marked on pack.
Where is it made?
At our bakery in Christchurch.
It is okay to freeze?
Yes, it can be frozen for up to six months. Once defrosted, it is best eaten within a month for optimum flavour.
